The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Somaliland (ICPAS) is pleased to organize a one-day CPD workshop on Research Methodology for Accounting Educators and Researchers. 

The workshop is designed to strengthen the research capacity of accounting lecturers, academic researchers, postgraduate supervisors, and professionals interested in accounting and finance research.

  • Choosing a strong research topic in accounting and finance
  • Developing research questions and objectives
  • Literature review and theoretical framework
  • Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods
  • Data collection tools and sampling techniques
  • Academic writing, referencing, and publication basics
  • Common weaknesses in accounting research proposals and theses

Target Participants

Accounting educators, university lecturers, postgraduate supervisors, researchers, and professionals involved in accounting, finance, auditing, taxation, and public financial management research.

CPD Recognition

Participants will receive a verifiable Certificate of Participation (4 hours) from ICPAS with CPD recognition.
